Wanted by Emmanuel Macron, the energy sobriety plan is also part of the measures taken by the government to deal with the energy crisis.

“It is very important today, collectively and in particular for large companies such as companies, administrations or even those who have the very rapid ability to limit their energy consumption, to ensure that their energy consumption is reduced “. energy,” she said.

“Let’s not forget that part of the gas is used to produce electricity. The latter, which we import, is very often produced on the basis of natural gas. In these circumstances, we have to save both: gas and electricity,” she added.

According to Agnès Pannier-Runacher, the energy consumption limiter also makes it possible to fight against global warming.

“It goes in the direction of the fight against global warming. Getting out of greenhouse gas emissions means reducing our consumption of fossil energy as much as possible and therefore ensuring that we use less gas in the years to come,” she explained.
