Unveiled last December by the Rebellion studio, Sniper Elite 5 will be released in the middle of the spring period as previously announced. The fifth opus of the famous franchise has just reached a decisive stage in its development. All the lights are now green and Agent Karl Fairburne is ready to go on his next mission.
The end of a long process
This decisive step is indeed the passage of the game in Gold state. A hugely important word in our jargon that means Sniper Elite 5 is finally ready to be mass-produced and put on the market. As confirmed by the tweet posted on the developer’s account, his adventure will begin on May 26, for a planned release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Note that all Xbox Game Pass subscribers could well enjoy the Day One game thanks to Microsoft’s service.

Sent to the front against the Nazis
Brave soldiers know no rest. Sniper Elite 5 will this time immerse Karl Fairburne in the middle of World War II. Our man will be here parachuted into France with the mission of recovering vital documents, which will make it possible to thwart the plans of the Third Reich.
In addition to its historical context, Rebellion promises us “the largest, most interactive and most immersive maps ever seen in the Sniper Elite series”. We don’t ask for better.
