Sekou Mara finishes top scorer and second best player of the Maurice-Revello tournament

The France under-20 team shone this Sunday by winning the Maurice-Revello tournament, a first for seven years. And that’s partly thanks to Sekou Mara. If he remained silent during the final against Venezuela (2-1), the Bordeaux striker accumulated the trophies: he finished top scorer in the competition, with 5 achievements, best French player and second player of the tournament, behind the Venezuelan Telasco Segovia.

A performance underlined when the Girondin, relegated last month to L2 with his training club, had joined the U20s weakened by shoulder pain dating from before the reception of Lorient (0-0), on May 14.
