  • Group Strategy Committee

Composed of the Chief Executive Officer, the Deputy Chief Executive Officers and the heads of Business units and Service unitsthis committee ensures the strategic management of activities.

  • Strategic Steering Committee of Business units (BU) and Service units (US)

Composed of the General Management, the Head of Business unit or the service unit concerned, the Strategy Manager and the Managers of certain Business units and Service units, this committee meets at least once a year for each of the BUs and SUs. The committee devotes its meetings to the strategic management of the BU or SU concerned.

  • Group cross-functional supervision

General Management coordinates client committees (Major Risks Committee, France Major Business Committee, Major European Business Committee, Medium Business Committee) as well as the ten steering committees for the Group’s activity.

Focus on the Responsible Commitments Committee

Since 2019, Société Générale has had a Group Responsible Commitments Committee. Placed under the responsibility of the Chief Executive Officer or the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of risk supervision and compliance, this committee examines and arbitrates complex cases presenting a reputational risk or non-alignment with the Group’s standards in terms of CSR, ethics or reputation. Made up of the heads of the Compliance Department, the Risk Department, the Communications Department, the CSR Department and the Managers of the Business and Service Units concerned, it is also responsible for making new commitments or to have the Group’s normative framework assessed.
