On his Ducati, the Italian Francesco Bagnaia, already the fastest during the second session on Friday, completed his best lap in 1’19”765. He is ahead of the Spaniard Aleix Espargaro, a time in the lead, and the Australian Jack Miller, also on his Ducati.
The French qualified directly in Q2
On the French side, Johann Zarco set the fourth time in 1’19”959 and the reigning world champion and current leader of the season, Fabio Quartararo, is 6th. As a reminder, the 10 fastest drivers at the end of the third free practice session are qualified in Q2.
In the absence of Marc Marquez, injured in the wrist, the Sachsenring will know a new winner on Sunday. But before that, the last practice session will be held at 1:30 p.m. this Saturday, before qualifying at 2:10 p.m.
