A picture of Pollution is expected Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in the Hauts de Seine and part of Île-de-France, details AirParif.
Increase in ozone levels
According to the latest bulletin from the organization responsible for monitoring air quality in the Île-de-France region, “the strong sunshine and the rise in temperatures require an increase in ozone levels”. As a result, the air quality will be poor throughout western Ile-de-France.
It is advisable, for vulnerable populations, to watch for any respiratory discomfort and to consult a doctor, to avoid long outings or outings requiring effort, to avoid areas with heavy road traffic at rush hour. The first two tips are also formulated by AirParif for the whole population, as well as the avoidance of intense efforts.
This pollution peak comes on the eve of an episode of very high heat in the department and more widely in France. Temperatures of up to 36 degrees are expected by the end of the week before the arrival of thunderstorms expected on Sunday June 19, 2022.
