The members of the jury proposed “favorite” firms in five categories: less than 20 lawyers; between 20 and 100 lawyers; team of the year in firms with more than 100 lawyers; best practice launch of the year; firm that has made the most progress in the law in 2021. The jury selected around twenty, then asked each one to specify in what way they had particularly distinguished themselves in 2021. The jury met a second time to designate the five winners.
