One in three Belgians do not know or are partially unaware of which insurance they are covered by, according to the CBC Observatory granted to Belgians and their insurance.
Insurance is clearly not a favorite subject for Belgians
According to this survey, appealing to a thousand respondents, the Belgian seems unconcerned about his insurance. Once assured, he no longer cares about this issue. Thus, six out of 10 Belgians say they do not regularly review their insurance. And it is not the Covid-19 pandemic or the dramatic floods of July 2021 that change the situation. “Insurance is clearly not a favorite subject for Belgians who, once insured, no longer worry about it. Moreover, Belgians tend to feel well insured. Overall, the study gives a fairly peaceful image of the Belgian’s relationship with the world of insurance, far from the usual clichés and demagoguery in this area.“
The CBC Observatory also teaches us that human contact remains privileged. Despite the fact that more than half of respondents know that it is possible to take out insurance digitally, more than half of insured Belgians (56%) took out their last insurance physically, at their office. ‘insurance.
