A man was arrested after a long chase with the police on Sunday June 12, 2022 in Évreux. He had no driver’s license or insurance.

In all cases, the police ask the driver to stop, but he refuses. A long chase then begins in the district of La Madeleine.
In his escape, the driver runs a red light on rue Georges-Politzer and takes a roundabout in the wrong direction. Rue Jean-Racine, a stationary vehicle blocks the passage, but the man decides to continue on foot. However, he was quickly caught by the police, who arrested him on rue Émile-Zola.
No license or insurance
This 26-year-old resident of La Bonneville-sur-Iton is placed in police custody. During his hearing, he justifies his flight by the absence of a driver’s license and insurance for his vehicle.
