Google announces Android 13 “in the coming weeks

Google has just communicated to developers the latest beta version of Android 13, the last step before the commercial launch of the new version of the OS.

In a note to developers of applications and other software elements based on the platform, Google estimates that the official launch of Android 13 should take place in the coming weeks.

Among the notable changes with Android 12 are stronger privacy protection options.

Android 13 must also be compatible with new protocols such as HDR Video and Bluetooth LE Audio and offer new tools for use on large screens and tablets.

Android 13 has already circulated widely in different beta versions since its launch was announced in early 2022. This new version is to replace Android 12, released in October 2021.
