Get News & Analysis From META, AMZN, NFLX & GOOGL

Before Facebook changed its name to Meta-platforms (META) and Google changed its name to Alphabet (GOOGL), the term FANG stocks was a catchy acronym that also included other tech titans (AMZN) and Netflix (NFLX (English only)). With name changes and a market that has taken its toll on tech stocks, the term has lost a lot of its bite.

Whatever the name, Meta Platforms and Alphabet alone account for the lion’s share of all global online advertising, including mobile. With the Amazon Prime Ecosphere and Amazon Web Services, or AWS, Amazon is driving both e-commerce and cloud computing.

After hitting new heights during the pandemic, streaming pioneer Netflix slumped as subscriber growth hit a wall. An ever-growing list of competitors, including disney (SAY), Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), Comcast (LMCSA) owned by NBCUniversal and World Paramount (PARA), as well as Amazon and Google-owned YouTube, didn’t help.

So is it time to buy or sell Meta, Amazon, Netflix and Alphabet? Whatever the name, regularly check these links for META, AMZN, NFLX (English only) and GOOGL to see what earnings and stock charts are showing.

Is the Metaverse just sci-fi hype or is it really the next big thing?
