EU standards for renewable energy in fossil fuels set in Belgium

The Council of Ministers on Wednesday approved a draft law setting in Belgium the European standards for the integration of energy produced from renewable sources in fossil fuels intended for the transport sector, announced the federal government.

This draft law allows our country to comply with European objectives for the promotion of renewable energies in transport. European regulations on renewable energies will thus be transposed into Belgian law, indicated the Minister of Energy, Tinne Van der Straeten (Groen), at the initiative of this proposal.
