Last Tuesday, at the Golden Tulip Joliette, in Marseille, Delta assurances, a candide Group company, organized Growth Day. In partnership with Allianz Trade, this event brought together around fifty companies for a day punctuated by business meetings, highlights around advice and the presentation of innovative solutions to finance and protect companies against certain risks as well as than foresight, to better assess short- and medium-term economic issues.

After more than two years of pandemic, we are happy to be back for this edition of Growth Day 2022. It seems fundamental to us to support the development of businesses in the territory, by providing links between them and with them. , and to inspire their growth model. Our ambition through this event is to clearly display our culture of expertise and advice sums up Marie Andrieu, Managing Director of Delta Assurances. Launched in 2018 for the first time in this format, Growth Day illustrates the strategy of the independent brokerage group since 1920,
to strengthen the service to companies for the development of their activities.

A global vision of financing solutions

General Managers, Financial Directors, Credit Managers of companies in the region therefore met on Tuesday morning in Marseille to attend this Growth Day. Delta assurances has carried out a program allowing them to obtain information, or to renegotiate their guarantees, with the experts of its partner, Allianz Trade, while learning about the range of existing and future solutions to protect companies
faced with the financial risks encouraged by their cash flow and supported by their development. “Our courtiers have a global vision of the financing solutions offered by the market. Thanks to the comparative studies they carry out, the time saved for companies is considerable. Factoring, reverse factoring, surety and other backed financing… These technical subjects were the subject of presentations or workshops led by ABN Amro, the leading Dutch bank on the factoring market, or Kwote, a company marketing a customer relationship management tool.
An economic update by the economist Ano Kuhanathan, and testimonials from successful, local, sustainable and committed entrepreneurs (see opposite), came to bring the inspiring and friendly touch of this day also intended to create links on the territory.

Invited by Benoît Lecat, CEO of the Candide Group, three entrepreneurs, bearers of local success stories, took turns telling their story and their commitment to the participants of the Journée De la Croissance. Philippe Korcia, Managing Director of Voyages Eurafrique and President of UPE 13, Nathalie Hagege, founder of the Marseille biotechnology company Proneem and President of APEX, as well as David Sussmann, creator of Seafoodia and the Pure Ocean foundation created to support applied marine research with the aim of preserving biodiversity and the marine ecosystem. They thus inspired the participants of the Journée De la Croissance by fervently sharing their brilliant entrepreneurial trajectory, coupled with their involvement in the vision of an economic world that is both more sustainable and more united.

Cool games winners at STMicro

It’s not the launch (which took place in October), but the awards ceremony for CoolGames from STMicroelectronics in Rousset that will be held tomorrow on the site. The third CoolGames competition (initiated by the CooLab (Innovation laboratory created in 2018) and the microcontrollers division of STMicroelectronics) on the theme of artificial intelligence aimed to give all engineering students in the South Region the opportunity to discover the high-tech products and solutions produced by the group. The application prototypes presented by the schools will be evaluated on the Rousset site tomorrow by a jury made up of the directors of the site and of the Microcontrollers division as well as experts in AI and embedded systems from ST. The students therefore designed a visual recognition application based on image classification using the STM32Cube AI environment with an electronic board embedding neural networks and a camera module.
