Christophe Lecourtier stacks up and redoubles his offensive

PORTRAIT – The senior civil servant has just been renewed for four years at the head of the government agency.

Obviously this pandemic period was not conducive to travel, neither in France nor internationally, and the ground was somewhat lacking for Christophe Lecourtier. But he has not been idle for all that, notably multiplying videoconferences to maintain the dynamic.

But in this return to school where he has just been reappointed for four years as general manager of Business France by decree of the President of the Republic, he resumes his pilgrim’s staff in all directions. “We see with greed the light on the horizon”, rejoices the senior official, who has mobilized all energies within the framework of the recovery plan, via Team France Export (recovery checks) or the new Team France Invest.

At 58, this son of a diplomat, who was himself French ambassador to Australia, where he enabled the deal to be struck for the famous delivery of the twelve French submarines, is delighted to continue to work for this “good national cause”, at the service of both the State and companies…
