A new issue of Capital magazine will be broadcast on Sunday July 31 on M6. The magazine presented by Julien Courbet will focus on one of the mythical seaside resorts of the Var: Bandol. Magnified by a splendid coastline and a record level of sunshine, Bandol can pride itself on attracting hordes of holidaymakers who spend around 250 euros per week on restaurants, leisure and shopping.
Only here, for traders, timing is essential and expenses are made in the evening. By the sea, you have to wait for the sun to go down and the heat to drop for the turnover to soar. A fact that “evening traders” must perfectly implement. The business starts at 5 p.m., with in the first place the strategic returns of beaches which attract thousands of customers to the shops. Next comes the capital moment of the aperitif and then the restaurant outings. During this late window, ice cream parlors can make up to 90% of their turnover!
This Sunday, from 9:10 p.m. on M6, Capital will set about deciphering the chronology of this juicy business of summer evenings, with local personalities like Aude, a ready-to-wear saleswoman, who knows how to set the mood to boost her recipes. The magazine will also honor Philippe the “glacier DJ”. In order to compete against the giants of ice cream, Philippe invented a concept: he plays the “glacier DJ animator”. A creative and effective method that allows it to exist when the competition is particularly fierce.
