Bpifrance Inno Generation (“Big”), the largest gathering of entrepreneurs in Europe, returns this year on Thursday October 7 at the AccorHotels Arena (Paris 12th). “It’s the festival of entrepreneurs”, explained Patrice Bégay, Executive Director of Communication of Bpifrance, in the weekly Eco, on CNEWS.
An unmissable meeting place for business and innovation, “Big” will welcome for its 7th edition more than 1,000 speakers (business creators, large groups, startuppers, companies of all sizes, etc.) for a day placed under the sign of the spirit of conquest. “We are going to have extraordinary things in terms of innovation. French innovation is a wealth, of course for France but also for the world”, assured Patrice Bégay at the microphone of Eric De Riedmatten, last Saturday on the continuous information channel.
On the program, more than 400 workshops, conferences and masterclasses to understand the challenges of tomorrow and new technological trends. In this context, many themes dear to entrepreneurs will be addressed: business creation, sustainable development, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, deeptech, industry 4.0, international, growth financing, health, management…
The climate in the spotlight
Several personalities will also be present such as François Villeroy de Galhau (Governor of the Banque de France), Guillaume Rozier (creator of CovidTracker), Xavier Niel (founder of Iliad) or Agnès Pannier-Runacher (Minister Delegate to the Minister of ‘Economy in charge of Industry). Not to mention the hundreds of entrepreneurs who will come to share their experience.
The climate theme will be at the heart of this event. One year after the announcement of the 40 billion euro climate plan shared with the Banque des Territoires, Bpifrance is thus creating a space dedicated to entrepreneurs committed to the ecological and energy transition (TEE).
In this context, members of the Bpifrance Green Rooster Community will be highlighted, whose aim is to create collective emulation between economic players of all sizes around the environmental transition, but also testimonials from scouts who will present their ambitious and inspiring projects in favor of the EET. Similarly, an exhibition and a presentation of greentechs are also planned, such as workshops and masterclasses on the theme of the TEE.
A new networking platform
Among the other novelties of this 7th edition of “Big”, the Bpifrance social network will take over the Arena to set up its “Campfire” expression scene there. The goal: to discover the innovations of each tribe: French Fab, French Touch, Climat, and French Tech. For its part, the place des rendez-vous is making its big comeback, in a 100% digital version. It will thus be possible to make appointments with purchasing directors of large groups, networks of business angels, export and financing advisers, etc.

Also note: a new networking platform of more than 600 m2 dedicated to SMEs and ETIs, as well as a TV set that will mix intimate interview formats and a succession of shows will also be installed. All with the promise of many highlights which, on D-Day, will be broadcast on the Bpifrance YouTube channel, but also partially on CNEWS.
Ultimately, the event is intended to be a unique opportunity to develop your knowledge of innovation and expand your network, Big is aimed at everyone: business creators, managers, industrialists, students, clubs…
