Falling cryptocurrency prices have cast NFTs into the shadows in recent weeks. But in Biarritz, they will find the sun. This summer, the coastal city is indeed the host of multiple events related to the blockchain. On August 24, it will host the very first edition of NFT Biarritz. More than 2000 square meters of space will be made available for conferences, round tables, workshops and networking.
Make an NFT show “qualitative and practical-practical”
The program of the day is very busy, OpenGem, the organizer, a program of numerous conferences and more than 50 speakers will be present to share their expertise in the field. The creation of NFT Biarritz aims to introduce (or rediscover) NFT in a fun and practical way. Many activities are offered: round tables, conferences, etc. The event will take place at the Connector of Biarritz, a popular place for start-ups. NFT Biarritz will also broadcast a preview of “The Burnt Auction, behind the scene”, a documentary attributed to NFT’s first hammer auction (with that of 20 Minutes) in the presence of its director, Patrice Masini, at 6:45 p.m.
NFT Biarritz is also an opportunity for Web 3 companies and artists to present their projects to the general public by exhibiting at the event. “From 1 pm to 2 pm there will be around fifty different projects. In order to share your project, all you have to do is register at the entrance to the show” underlines Frank Dupont, one of the creators of NFT Biarritz.
A lounge also accessible to novices
One day before Surfin’Day and the start of Surfin’Bitcoin, taking a trip to NFT Biarritz before diving into cryptocurrency is killing two birds with one stone. “The event is intended to be accessible to beginners and experienced riders,” explains Franck Dupont. Workshops will be held to “accompany newcomers to the world of NFTs” (how to create a wallet, secure it, buy your first NFT, etc.).
The NFT Biarritz ticket office is still open. If you are an NFT 20 Mint typewriter owner, you can even get a 30% discount by connecting your wallet.
