Axa has just appointed Alexander Vollert as a new member of its management committee. The current director of group operations and general manager of Axa Group Operations (Axa GO) integrates the code of the insurer on September 1st.
The Axa group has just announced the appointment of Alexander Vollert, current director of operations and CEO of Axa GO, as a new member of its management committee, as of September 1st.

A graduate of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, Alexander Vollert began his career in 1995 as a doctoral student in industrial engineering at the same University. After working for McKinsey & Company between 2000 and 2009, he then joined Allianz in Munich, first as head of business organization, then COO for life, health and non-life insurance.
In 2014, he was appointed CEO of Allianz Versicherungs-AG, the German property and casualty insurance business. He then joined Axa in September 2016 as Managing Director of Axa Germany. Since 2021, Alexander Vollert has held the position of Group Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Axa Group Operations (Axa GO). The latter is also a member of the board of directors of Axa Venture Partners and a member of the advisory board of the Axa fund for research.
