Barely the international window closed with the France team, that Aurélien Tchouaméni (22 years old) will fly away Tuesday morning for Madrid, in order to be presented there as a new Real player. The fourth most important purchase in the history of the Merengue club (80 M€ + 20 in any bonuses), behind Eden Hazard (115 M€, 2019), Gareth Bale (101 M€, 2013) and Cristiano Ronaldo (96 M€, 2009) will initially undergo his medical examination.
His official presentation will begin around 12 p.m. at Valdebebas, Real Madrid’s training center. Like Eduardo Camavinga last season, the former Monegasque midfielder will not have the honors of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, still under construction, and will not be nominated by Real fans. He will then sign his six-year contract (until 2028) with Florentino Pérez, the Madrid president.
A video of the most beautiful actions of his career in club as in selection will then be projected before Pérez welcomes him and Tchouaméni speaks in turn in front of his relatives and the bridges of Real Madrid. A press conference, scheduled around 2 p.m., will close the day.
