Amateur Gold Tour: Garance Galivel wins in Deauville

This weekend, the Pôle International du Cheval Longines-Deauville hosted the ninth stage of the Amateur Gold Tour FFE/Esthederm circuit. After a good jump-off, it is a regular on the Garance Galivel circuit, who wins with Baccara de la Roque.

New sporting weekend for our Amateur riders, this time on the tracks of Deauville with 53 couples at the start of the Grand Prix Amateur Gold Tour FFE – Esthederm 1m25 designed by Yann Royant like last week in Sancourt (59). At the jump-off, 14 100% French duos competed to thwart the traps set by the course designer. The first eight being double clear, it was against the clock that the rankings were decided! And in the game of speed, it was Garance Galivel who got everyone to agree with Baccara de la Roque, completing a lap in 39.9 seconds. She won the stage ahead of Camille Fuzeau Thomas (42.17s), very fit all weekend, finishing in the three events with her two horses. After his 3rd place at Fontainebleau (77), Camille finished 2nd this time with Emingway CT and pocketed precious points for the Final.

After a second place in Fontainebleau, I was really tempted to win this stage. My mare was not in great shape but she still showed us her motivation and her big heart. The Deauville track is not easy and is not suitable for all horses, but it brought us luck this weekend. We will be back at the next stage of the AGT FFE – Esthederm de Fontainebleau, a track that we really appreciate, hoping to return to the podium. The final is again my goal this year. I hope to gain experience while waiting for this one, to win first place on this magnificent track in Lyon. explained the winner.

Last year, Garance Galivel won the Jardy and Le Mans stage and won the Elegance Trophy in the final in Lyon. One has chosen is sure the competition promises to be tight!

See you in Royan (17) from June 21 to 26 for the next stage.
