Axie Infinity is the most popular NFT community in 112 countries, according to a recent study by CashNetUSA. The country that loves NFT the most is Montenegro, while the country that hates NFT the most is Poland. Singapore, on the other hand, is the country most interested in NFTs.
The results were obtained by analyzing the search volumes on Google and the feelings on Twitter.
Interest in Axie Infinity
Data collected in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Oceania and Africa indicates that Axie Infinity is the most searched NFT community.
In the exclusive regions of North America and Africa, Axie Infinity only comes with a slight focus on Decentraland. Either way, Axie emerges as the clear winner in each of these regions.
In the case of North America, Decentraland emerges as the clear winner in Google search results. Although he holds most of the region, Axie Infinity, Sorare and Bored Apes are still present as minorities in the southern cities.
Africa is the only region without a clear winner in NFT curiosity. Countries are split between Decentraland, Axie Infinity, Sorare, and Bored Apes. Town Star also helps ensure a small region within Africa.
South America, on the other hand, is the only region not interested in Decentraland, Bored Apes or others. Axie Infinity dominates the whole region, only Chile is interested in The sandbox
Interest in NFTs
In addition to filtering out specific NFT collections that are of interest to each region, the survey also analyzed overall interest in NFTs. This section was required by calculating the monthly searches of “NFT” for 1 million people.
Singapore emerges as the country most interested in NFTs in general, with 18,717 searches per month. Hong Kong and Canada follow Singapore in second and third place with 15,213 and 12,358 searches respectively. The United States ranks fifth in the list with 10,677 monthly searches for “NFT”.
Sympathy towards NFTs
The study analyzed sentiment on Twitter to understand which regions like NFTs the most. The results showed that Poland is the country that hated the most NFTs, generate nearly a quarter (22.7%) of Tweets on NFTs worldwide. Nicaragua and Belize follow Poland in second and third place on the list.
Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Luxembourg are the three countries that love NFTs the most.
The United States does not appear on either list. Despite Bored Ape’s dominance in the region, an anti-NFT protest took place in the streets of New York City on June 20.
