The US-Africa Business Summit will be held for the 1before in North Africa, more precisely in Marrakech on July 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2022, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This is the 14thEdition of an event organized annually by the ” Business Council on Africa (CCA), the main private American organization active in Africa. The purpose of this meeting is to promote business and investment opportunities between the United States and African countries, at the same time to build partnerships in a win-win approach.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the choice to organize in Morocco this 14th Edition, reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to the sustainable development of the African continent and a better integration of its economies into global value chains. He adds that this also testifies to the common desire to reposition Africa in international trade flows, in a context of post-covid economic recovery and reconfiguration of the international economic chessboard. For him, this summit represents an opportunity to promote the strategic positioning of Morocco, the only African country to have concluded a free trade agreement with the United States, as a hub for Africa and a benchmark economic partner for the United States.
